What is Fernily?

Fernily is a personal plant care app for households. It helps you and your partner to track your plants, log care activities, and stay on top of watering schedules — together.

What data we collect

• 🪪Google account info — your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, your profile photo is also collected. If you use email/password sign-in, your email is stored for authentication and account recovery.
• 🪴Plant data — plant names, watering and fertilising schedules, and care logs that you enter yourself.
• 🔔Push notification token — a device token used to send you watering reminders. Stored only if you grant notification permission.

How we use it

Your data is used solely to operate the app — showing your plants, logging care activities, and sending watering reminders to your household. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising or analytics.

Where it's stored

Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Storage), hosted in the EU/US by Google Cloud. Firebase is governed by Google's privacy policy.

Access & deletion

You can ask to have all your data deleted at any time by contacting us. Two sign-in methods are supported: Google Sign-In and email/password. If you use Google Sign-In, deleting your Google account will revoke access. Either way, your plant data must be removed separately on request.
